That’s not true. I simply said a hurricane once in 30 years or so would not be enough to make me have a meltdown and move from a place that I love. If it was, then I never really loved my state to begin with. Sh*t happens, you deal and move on. Look how many years Florida went without any direct hits. In CA you never know when an earthquake might hit. At least with hurricanes you can evacuate and have warning. Same with tornadoes, there is not much warning. You have days to prepare for hurricanes. Correct prepartion saves your belongings. There is no reason one should lose everything unless they don’t prepare. I take every warning seriously. If it doesn’t come, I put it all back in place and thank God.
