“I don’t listen to Cunningham anymore. He’s such a downer and a defeatist. He sounds like he’s given up.”

Please elaborate. A downer in what way? A defeatist in what way? YOU sound like the downer and the defeatist here, my friend. Have you EVER listened to Bill Cunningham?

Not at all. I’m quite optimistic. It’s Cunningham who is the downer. Unlike Rush, Beck or Hannity I just don’t get a sense of optimism from Cunningham.

In what way??? Can you elaborate???

To call me, reflexively, a downer and defeatist because I dare not to like his style is rather.....well...repulsive and pavlovian ? Tsk tsk tsk.

In the past few weeks....

He has thrown Palin under the bus, has surrended to the notion that nationalized healthcare is going to happen, that we are lost for at least several generations.

Everytime I listen to him, he comes off as a downer. Then again, Sunday night in what was once Matt Drudge’s time slot....hmmmmmm...speaks for itself.
