Dear Lord. I’m not so worried about their supplying uranium to Iran, since Iran will get that one way or another with the oil money they are willing to spend on their program. What I am worried about, is how long it will take Venezuela to set up their own “peaceful” nuclear program (with Russian assistance no doubt) once local supplies of uranium are secured. Chavez is looking to become a regional power where Castro failed. The military posturing towards Columbia, intervention in domestic Honduran politics, and now this first step towards securing a nuclear “trump card” spell it out pretty clearly.
