Indeed, what you say is true. And it certainly is suspicious that McVeigh’s execution came so swiftly; especially in a system wherein murderers and rapists on death-row are given DECADES for appeals to go through.

I've always felt that McVeigh was resigned that he was going to die.....I think he felt that he had the entire govt going to do him in and he had no chance.....even if he was not directly guilty, he must have realized that he was the one caught with the goods.....

he was stoic....

and for a DP person to be executed in such a short time, something truely stunk in that case...
