In a classic act of ecumenism, the prayer was set to music by Max Bruch, a Scottish Presbyterian.

Like all nations governed by men, it’s far from perfect but we need to pray for Israel in this very difficult time.

Let us also pray that the American Jews who turned to Obama in the election will repent in the next cycle as it becomes clear to them that they made a dreadful mistake — one that may lead to massive damage to or the destruction of Israel.
