The lefties have such a specious argument. If homosexuality is so good, right, moral and natural, why do they have to vehemently disclaim that it will be taught in schools? They kind of undercut their argument, don't they?

They are running ads saying that outsiders are trying to tell people not to stand for equality. We just want teachers to leave our kids and grand kids alone.

Protect Maine Equality already has tried to counter the public schools charge with its own ad, which featured schoolteacher Sherri Gould of Corinna, Maine, in a classroom saying, "I've been teaching in Maine schools since 1983. We teach respect and Maine values. That will never change." What a vague and malleable statement this indoctrinator makes. Please learn the language quickly. "Respect" and "dignity" no longer have the same connotation when they appear on a liberal's tongue. They are code for forced acceptance and mandated normalization of perversion.
I don't really like that the Question 1 advocates are tying this whole argument to school children, though - as valid an argument as this is. There are scores of other excellent reasons that a society should not condone and thereby promote homosexuality.

At least the Baptist Press article has it right; it states that the legislation signed by the governor is an attempt to ‘redefine marriage,’ which is truly is.
