Worst trouble with ACORN is at the polls (Al Franken ACORN fraud?)
Minneapolis Star-Tribune ^ | September 26, 2009 | Katherine Kersten

ACORN was once the darling of Democrats for its support of every item on the left-wing wish list. Suddenly, its employees can hardly find a Democrat who will answer their phone calls.

But ACORN does have a special place in its heart for at least one prominent Minnesota politician. Last year, it showered praise on Al Franken, endorsing his run for the U.S. Senate. Franken returned the esteem: "I'm thrilled and honored to receive this endorsement," he gushed in a press release. He added that he was "more motivated than ever to work with ACORN."

I'm not suggesting that Franken had any association with the folks behind ACORN's recent scandal. Indeed, when the Senate voted to defund ACORN, he got religion and joined the pack.

It's worth recalling, however, that ACORN is best-known for its massive voter-registration campaigns, which focus relentlessly on getting Democrats elected in targeted states. Here its record is appalling -- and goes to the heart of our democratic electoral system.

Wake up Minnesota!

A majority of Minnesotans appear to think that American politics is a joke and, I'm guessing, that America is a joke. Look who they vote for.

As a conservative in Minnesota we got rid of Coleman which is a good thing. You either have principles or you do not “Bye Bye Norm.” Oh Yes we conservatives had help in getting rid of Norm with ACORN helping us.

“This goes higher then ACORN, when the 300 plus votes in MN were “found” in a trunk of a car (using the old Ooops I forgot to turn them in line), they were ruled to be counted!!!!!!!!”

Yes I thought this was amazing ...

but no one protested, shouted, challenged enough, etc.

Like all good Repubs at the time they just took this slap in the face with a smile...

And now God is punishing them with daily doses of good ol’ Al Franken, the biggest POS seen in a long time ...

VOTE FRAUD: 2,812 Dead Voters

http://www.redstate.com/jrichardson/2009/06/04/minnesota-vote-fraud-2812-dead-voters/

A review of Minnesota’s statewide database of registered voters revealed at least 2,812 deceased individuals voted in last November’s general election, according to a new report by the “traditional values” advocacy group Minnesota Majority.

After obtaining the list of voters who participated in November’s election, the group hired an independent firm who specializes in “death suppression” for direct mailing lists to review the data. The process, which involved matching names and addresses to state death records, bore troubling results.

According to Minnesota statute 201.13, the commissioner of health is to report monthly the name, address, date of birth, and county of residence of voting-age deceased residents to the secretary of state.

Presumably the commissioner of health would not issue incomplete reports (read: no motive), the blame then falls elsewhere – namely, at the feet of Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie, whose partisan leanings and curious alliance with vote fraud-magnet ACORN are becoming more salient by the day.

Deputy Secretary of State Jim Gelbmann argues the discrepancies unearthed by the group are merely the result of election workers updating the voter database with faulty information and were not instance of voter fraud.

“I would venture—put my reputation on—the fact that there are very few, if any, people impersonating dead people. You’re going to have human error,” he admitted.

But Jeff Davis, president of Minnesota Majority, believes the situation to be far less benign – and legal – than the Ritchie’s staff is willing to admit.

“The first problem with their explanation is that there should not even be deceased individuals on the voter rolls. The second problem with the secretary of state’s explanation is that it basically acknowledges the lack of controls in the way in which voter history updates are being captured and recorded,” he said. Adding, “If the proper controls had been in place, this situation would not have occurred.”

Whether the peculiar case of 2,800+ deceased individuals casting ballots is a matter of fraud, human error, or resurrection is of little importance at the moment.

According to current recount totals, Democrat Al Franken leads Republican Norm Coleman by a mere 312 votes. If the Minnesota Supreme Court rules in favor of Coleman later this month, which most analysts agree won’t be the case, an additional 4,000 votes will be added to the mix.

When you’re down by such a slim margin, like Team Coleman knows all too well, every vote counts. When you live in a democracy, the very hallmark of which is fair and free elections, every vote should count. But when you live in Minnesota, where the chief election officer is a hyper-partisan louse, “every” vote counts, even after you’re dead!

Where do all these DEM Minnesotans come from? Cities?
I thought most people there were in suburbs, but then again I do not know much about the state except it has a high population of Scandinavians.

Unfortunately, Barry did win. Maybe not by as much as the “official” count, but he did win. The American people were in a trance that they are slowly coming out of.

Oh boy there is a smart move. Dumping a guy who voted with you 95% of the time for one will vote against u 100% of the time and give the Marxists a filibuster proof majority in the US Senate.

So are you just a Democrat fraud pretending to be “Conservative” or so utter politically inept and ignorant you actually think that was a “good” trade?

Turn off the screaming fraud Jason Lewis and try actually thinking for yourself for a change cause if that is the actual logic of most Minnesota "Conservatives" be prepared to be a ineffectual inept, clueless minority the rest of your lives.

It is this way once voter fraud enters the picture all bets are Off, Now on the scale that was used in the Presidential NO way.

Doing the right thing is still doing the right thing period. Coleman was a republican in name only (RINO)period. Hopefully we will learn to elect true conservatives that will make a difference.

Cutting off all federal taxpayer dollars to ACORN (The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) is a good start, but Congress and the Executive Branch must do more.

Reps struggle every year begging RINO’s to do the right thing and never get it done. We are down to about 5 now that you have to beg to do the right thing on a big vote. Reps get in trouble because they do not stand for anything. They lack principles. When you tell folks what you are going to do and do it you are respected. Otherwise you are mushy and Democrat Lite.

Difference in Dems and Repubs are Dems are true believers and stand for something. Knowing a Repub fundraiser, he told me people just were upset with Coleman because he was mushy and they are not all that in love with Pawlenty either. Of course he is trying to be conservative now because it suits his ambitions.
