Social Security strained by "disability" payments. What started as a good and decent program has become the NEW WELFARE without the pesky social workers. If you have a doubt go down to your local social secuity office - half the people waiting to see someone will be gang bangers. Yep - being a drug addict qualifies you for a lifetime of social security benefits - and food stamps.

There's no social security system that can deal with "workers" who work for 4 years and collect for 60 years.

I know some relatives who've mananged to work very little yet get on SS dissability...which everyone knows pays pretty well, more than regular SS....

I used to think disabled meant in a wheelchair, or paralysed, or blind, or mentally challenged...but now I know you can have a bad ankle or a sore back or nevousness and get on it....

what a scam....

that and those wheelchair parking spots...for the lazy and the obese .....and I am not talking about those who can't walk...doesn't it seem the truely disabled can never find a handicap parking space because of all the 40 yros with the bad backs....
