Id like to think that most Poles know that most Americans consider them valued friends and allies.

I think they know that. It’s similar to the way we felt towards Poland when it was under Soviet domination and had a communist and pro-Soviet government. Most Americans despised the Polish government then and were solidly behind Wech Welensa, et als. The Poles do not assume all Americans are like ObaMugabe and his minions.

Are we their friends? They have been our friends, and we have betrayed them.

On Sept. 17, 2009, Obama announced that we are betraying Poland by dismantling the missile shield, in order to improve US relations with his pal Putin. This was exactly 70 years after Poland was invaded by US ally Soviet Union on Sept. 17, 1939, at the start of World War II.

Was Obama aware of the symbolism of this day? I do not think this was a freak coincidence; he wanted them to know they were being betrayed in the name of the US.
