Throughout last years presidential campaign, Barack Obama lambasted the Bush administration for fighting the wrong war in Iraq and ignoring the right one in Afghanistan. Iraq was a war of choice, Obama claimed, while Afghanistan was a war of necessity.
Repeatedly, he claimed that, if elected president, hed unveil a new stronger, smarter and comprehensive strategy.

As on so many other issues with Obama, we have on-the-job training on grand scale.
He has a cunning plan.
“As on so many other issues with Obama, we have on-the-job training on grand scale.”
THE prime example of affirmative action mentality gone wrong.
It is simply immoral to send troops into a hostile country without a specific plan for victory. Our troops lives are not political pawns to be used for political points.
The Obamaites have no morality.
Read today’s Mallard Filmore.
His plan is to get people killed unnecessarily, blame the military in general and the generals in particular, discrediting individuals, the military, and by extension America.
Who’s going to blame him? Only us nasty racists.
0bama is out to destroy America, it’s plain as day. I wouldn’t conclude that publicly in some heated moment — I serve it cold.
I think he's waiting for a large number of casualties in one day, whereupon he will withdraw.
Any criticism will be derided as partisan, and he will point to Reagan pulling out of Lebanon. (I consider Reagan's withdrawal understandable, but in hindsight the biggest mistake of his presidency.)
He needs a crisis/need for his purple shirt civie army.
El Rushbo makes a good point- Obama is worse than a broken clock because can’t even get it right twice a day.
PLAN? There ain't no plan!
First, it was obvious at the time that the Dims, and Obama in particular, were simply flapping their jaws about Afghanistan in a cynical move to try to appear not TOTALLY anti-war.
Secondly, to be almost a year into this administration, and thus into this administration’s prosecution of not only the war, but the “good” war, and the President to be cauterwauling about “a plan” is beyond the pale. Have we not had “a plan” by the administration until now? Was there no sense that “a plan” should be made until now? What the hell are these people doing?
Sorry for shouting, but:
IT IS EVEN MORE IMMORAL FOR A PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES TO TELL THE WORLD, INCLUDING OUR DEADLY ENEMIES, THAT HE HAS **NO PLAN YET** ON HOW TO PROSECUTE A WAR ALREADY BEING PROSECUTED BY BOOTS ON THE GROUND.
Can you imagine being a soldier getting shot at in Afghanistan and hear on the news that your Prez has figured out that, like, maybe, he needs “a plan” before he knows what to do and what’s going on in the very operations you are conducting?
Can you imagine being a terrorist organization opposing the troops in Afghanistan and hearing their Commander in Chief go on global television and whine about how he can’t make any decisions about the war there because he doesn’t yet have “a plan”?
You piss me off, Obama. You lie.
As Rush said, even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Obama is not right twice a day.
As a result our solders are even bigger targets all without a plan or even any real intention of winning. Yet about 50% of the American people still say they approve of the idiot's actions.
We live in a sick world.

Great post.
You piss me off, Obama. You lie.
Worth repeating.
