MSNBC: Republicans "Want to See You Dead...They Kinda Like It When That Woman Has Cancer"

[videos] MSNBC commentator Ed Schultz stated that Republicans want Americans to die, and they enjoy it when middle-aged women contract cancer. He then suggested that Republican Sen. Olympia Snowe should allow tumors to spread through her body if she ever gets cancer. Schultz also screamed, "The Republicans lie! They want to see you dead! They'd rather make money off your dead corpse! They kinda like it when that woman has cancer and they don't have anything for her..." After equating the GOP with the Cancer Caucus, Ed brandished a death wish against Olympia Snowe: "Now Olympia Snowe, I'm not wishing bad on you at all, but if you get cancer in your stomach, Sen. Snowe, what I would like you to do is to wait two weeks to see a doctor." He invited Rep. Michelle Bachman (R-MN) to his show and invited her "to slit her wrist right here on 'The Ed Show.'" Among many other things, Schultz has accused Republicans of wanting to kill Obama: "Sometimes I think they [conservatives] want Obama to get shot. I do! I really think there are conservative broadcasters in this country who would love to see Obama taken out. They fear socialism. They fear Marxism." Such red-faced rant is typical of "The Ed Show," not the exception.

At least you’re willing to listen to both sides and then make a decision as best you can. That’s much better than those like Ed who think you’re an idiot if you doubt the liberal party line - and call you that on TV.

LOL - Have never watched him but I strongly suspect we will see him standing out on a 40th story bldg ledge when Mrs Palin is elected in 2012.

Is he an authentic loon or does he just act like one to attract viewers?

MSNBC is NBC. And now you know that you really can’t trust that network at all.

Good point. Kate O’Beirne in NR had an article called “Will the 60’s Never Leave Us?”. By that she meant that all the people in that generation are now in positions of influence - the media, academics, etc. - and are still spewing forth the old worn-out slogans and beliefs of that long ago past.

I agree Snowe is the classic RINO. But her vote now seems to be crucial on ObamaCare - and so far she’s against it. That makes her little better than a whore for liberal media scum like Schultz.

Right, right, I get it. Thank you. The Lefties are wooing her vote by wishing her dead. It’s, um, not exactly perverse but... Well, maybe it is. These people are getting harder and harder to follow. By the end of October, they’ll be suggesting that little kids dress up in costumes, load up bags with candy from the store, and go around from house to house giving it to adults.

I spend a little time watching what the “enemy” is saying because it makes me realize how valid conservatism is and how wrong liberalism is. Personally, I think Ed is a real liberal but a basically vicious person who will say or do anything to get ratings. And he has: VERY LOW!

If anybody watched MSDNC he might complain about the over the top rhetoric Ed espouses.

So we're back to Republicans wanting to kill the elderly? I thought we left that kind of politics behind a decade ago, so they said.

The Democrats are trying to push the stink of "Death Panels" back onto Republicans, I see.

Right. And the irony is that this is precisely what ObamaCare will do to the elderly and others found “not worth” treating. Dick Morris and others have written some terrific articles on this. The point they make is that it’s only common sense: If you add 40+ million people to a socialized health care plan where do all the extra and necessary doctors, nurses, hospitals and other health professionals come from? You’ve got it! RATIONING. And that doesn’t even touch on the fact that we can’t afford such a debacle without confiscatory taxation!

The elderly are right to be angry. They're the ones who paid into the system with their insurance premiums for decades, expecting some return when their time came. Now that it's their time to utilize the system, the middle-aged of Obama's generation want to take it from the elderly for their own use.

And worse, they want to turn health care into the next Social Security, by making the youth of American pay mandatory insurance for ailments they don't have, in order to fund the health care for the middle-aged.

If you think Fox is now worse than MSLSD and The Leprechaun is the best Fox has to offer, God help you but you’re on the wrong website.

I call it like i see it. Fox says they report, we decide. Over the last year or so, they have been deciding. We get one GOP shill after another. Megan Kelly has gotten so bad I can hardly watch her for news anymore. BOR is more what I think of as a true conservative. One who believes in keeping the structure of your country together, staying within your traditions, and taking responsibility.

What the problem is that conservatives have been so bombarded by Libertarian crap they have forgotten who they are on things economic. Frankly, CNN is better at providing news, and many of their commentators seem to be more common sense than either the FOX or MSNBC guys. IMHO, Fox has gone down a wrong turn and need to get back to being fair and balanced again.

Let me see now..............we need less more government control of our economy, trial lawyers are actually doing tons of good for America, Michael Moore is a great film maker, Cuba has great health care, and now CNN is a good place to go for news.

Parsy who wouldn't know the truth if it hit him in between the eyes.

Plus he wears his trousers rolled...........

Gov’t control or gov’t rules? Its kinda how you look at it. Reinstating Glass/Bleily doesn’t control as much as it prohibits. Suppose there was a time when doctors ran funeral homes and society started noticing problems with a lot of people dying after they went to the doctor for no apparent reason. The gov’t prohibits the joint ownership and darn if a lot of those weird deaths stop. Then 60 years later, gov’t ends the ban and whammo here comes problems. By putting back the ban, is gov’t controlling the business or is it just setting forth the ground rules.

Look at it like a football game. Do officials control the game or just set and enforce rules?

parsy, who is full of analogies

Your analogy is sort of like, what if there was a creature called manbearpig that might be putting the entire world in danger. Why, then we'd have to spend a lot of time and money, with lots of government controls to solve this crisis that manbearpig brings.

Parsy who is just plain full of it........a better analagy........
