The public would not have been as concerned with the ACORN tapes as ACORN would have been further from influence. Still I think this one because of the child sex slavery would have caught the eye of the American public.

First of all, regarding Afghanistan during the campaign McCain OPPOSED sending in more troops. In this respect, he was more of a peacenik than Obama. What makes you think that McCain would now flip flop on that issue?

Second, there would have been no ACORN tapes if McCain was in office. He would (without controvery) have continued the Bush policy of giving tax money to that group. Would Republicans object or fund investigations (even private ones)? Probably not the Republicans who never cared about ACORN when Bush was handing them our money!

Let’s see:

1. The Generals are now asking for more troops. I think while he has a stuborn streak, he would go along with what the commanders of the troops want. I know this much, I trust McCain more to make military decisions than Obama. How about you?

2. You may have missed this but the ACORN tapes were made by private citizen journalist. So you figure that had McCain won Ms. Giles would not have gone jogging past the ACORN office or she would have beent thinking about McCain and not thought I wonder what is going on in there? These tapes embarrass Dim and GOP members of Congress into defunding them. It takes Dims to defund them whether or not McCain is president.
