It is really mind boggling...the only thing I can think of is he is unbeleivable incompetent...surrounded by staff who are ignorant of foreign policy and history...bubble wrapped in a 60’s radical fantasy.
the more i think about it, the angrier i get. why the heck didn’t he slap severe economic sanctions on them a long time ago? i can only think that he thought he was so persuasive that if they just heard his line of “can’t we all just get along” that they would accede. my gosh.
