Barack Obama raises spectre of nuclear conflict as Allies find site near Iran holy city
Catherine Philp in New York and Francis Elliott in Pittsburgh
Britain, France and the United States set the stage for a dramatic confrontation with Iran when they revealed the existence of a secret nuclear site inside a mountain near the holy city of Qom as evidence of Tehrans efforts to deceive the international community.
The coup de théâtre came at the opening of the G20 meeting in Pittsburgh after three days of intense diplomacy at the UN General Assembly. President Obama, President Sarkozy and Gordon Brown took turns to demand that Iran disclose its nuclear ambitions and threaten new sanctions.
Later, Mr Obama raised the spectre of military conflict, saying that failure by Iran to give up its pursuit of nuclear weapons would lead down a path that is going to lead to confrontation.
Iran is on notice that when we meet with them on October 1 they are going to have to come clean and they are going to have to make a choice, he said.

This may force Israel to go for broke.
This kind of operation requires decisiveness. I don't think Barry or his minions have big balls.
This is why I think the odds are approximately 50/50 that when (not if) Israel takes out Iran like the garbage pail it is, that Netanyahu will go nuclear from the gitgo, and here's why:
Netanyahu knows that no matter if Israel tosses a few rocks across the border at Iran, or drops nukes on Tehran, Tabriz, Qom, Bushehr, etc., that the 'outrage' of the 'international community' will be the same, with the usual predictable condemnations, shriekings and wailings and the Palestinian whores waggling their tongues and making rude noises, it's all the same.
Iran has to be smacked down and HARD, never to arise again under the Islamofascist banner. The only way to do that is by radiating the miserable bastards and making their nuke facilities, military-industrial infrastructure AND their leadership glow in the freakin' dark.
Once the world understands that Israel means what it says with those two words "Never Again", they MIGHT just stop effin' around with Israel (at least for a little while).
The United States has been prematurely reduced to a paper tiger in the region, only because of our own estrogenic, hand-wringing so-called 'leadership' in the White House and the Congress. 0bama has already wee wee'd himself on this, he no sooner presides over a meaningless U.N. resolution on 'eliminating nuclear weapons' and Iran basically says "EFF YOU 0BAMA!", and he'll either under react (most likely) or he'll over react (unlikely but dangerous if he does).
As Howard Beale said in 'Network' "We're in a lotta trouble folks!"

0bama won’t. But Netanyahu?
That’s a horse of a different color right there.

Better to set off nuke(or nuke materials) already inside Iran, instead of hauling big bombs to the target via planes.
The way things are now, it may not be possible to perform clean operation without radiation leaks. The bombing will contaminate the entire neighborhood including the facilities, beyond habitation. Since the facilities are fortified and bombing can only damage them instead of putting them out of commission, this could increasingly be the case.

A known weakling like Obama is more likely to precipitate a nuclear holocaust than a strong and resolute leader.

Now Brazil wants nukes, or else they want a bribe to not seek nukes. Chavez is now in the act, too.
It’s becoming more and more apparent that ostammer really got rolled by Putin and Medyeved. They crawled into the woodwork during Bush’s presidency. Even Gaddafi gave it up for Dubya. By contrast, all the rogue leaders and rogue wannabees are coming out of the closet to get their share of nukes now that a Marxist pussy is the leader of the free world.

As signalled by the fact, pointed to by Rush, that we did not "discover" the activity, they told us about it outright, bragging in effect, that they were going ahead with it and there is nothing effective that we, now "led" by the ineffective One, can do absolutely nothing about it that would have any effect.
The One really believes that if they get a chance to see and hear his magnificent presence they will surely give him whatever he wants cuz he's "black" doncha know. They did not rename land of the Aryans for nothing. Affirmative action fascism is soooo effective.

No matter. Zero is giving his fellow libs long-deprived 'political orgasm.' Much of Zero's recent agenda have been part of liberal's long-time wish list. Climate change, global nuclear reduction, national health care, alternative fuels, anti-Israel & pro-Palestine policy, pushing net neutrality, amnesty for illegals, normalization with Cuba, and runaway bailout of all kind. They are all either of low priority or exacerbate the current crisis to a dangerous level.
Still it makes libs feel good, watching that all their agendas are finally put into action by Zero. The world and U.S. can go to Hell, but they are in Heaven now.

Late breaking news said that we have known about this second site like forever. Talking about it is what's new and his creepiness likes to talk.
Hopefully someone has told his creepiness about the DEAD HAND/ PERIMETER setup in Russia. One false strike against Russia and their nukes go off to hit us - all thousands are targeted just on little old us. Soft of an insurance policy that says - you better make sure no one nukes us or you're toast.

Oh I don't know, they didn't seem worried about having our backing when they were planning the raid on Iraq's Osirak reactor, ask Saddam about that, lol
Oh wait, he's in HELL. ;)

Actually TLR, I think that is even MORE of a reason for Israel to nuke 'em, why?
If there is a possibility of radiation leaking from the nuclear sites, it would demonstrate to the Iranians the true horrors of nuclear warfare (albeit, on a limited scale). Iran has been advocating the genocide of all of Israel's people, thus: this would be nothing more than reaping what they've been trying to sow, and at the moment, I can't think of a more deserving bunch of pricks on this planet.
As John Belushi said in '1941',
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: "War nerves? Who said war nerves?"
Customer in Diner: "I heard it on that radio there."
[Kelso shoots the radio]
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: "Radio's wrong."

The theres this, which is getting virtually no coverage: SEPTEMBER 23, 2009 WED : (REPORT : DEMOCRAT FUNDRAISER NEMAZEE PLEADS NOT GUILTY -See HIS BROTHER-IN-LAW KASHANCHI, BANK FRAUD, CITIBANK, BANK OF AMERICA, HSBC, IRAN, HILLARY CLINTON, OBAMA, JOHN KERRY?) ........... What is to cover? Dirty money was removed years ago from political campaigns. And if there is any there, there, we surely would have heard about it from allll the pouting muppets on the cable shows. Wasn't that the greatest deed of all of lord McCain's legislative service?
