Obama scores twin coups on Iran, economy (Oh yea, Obama really showed them! /sarc)

PITTSBURGH (Reuters) - President Barack Obama scored twin diplomatic coups on Friday, seizing the world stage to forge a new allied call for action against Iran and a framework for global economic growth.

The moves ended a week of intense focus on foreign policy for Obama and could help shore up his standing among Americans after recent weeks during which his popularity fell to about 51 percent from highs around 70 percent after he took office in January.

From the United Nations in New York to a Group of 20 summit in Pittsburgh, it was all Obama all the time. He declared a "new era of engagement" for U.S. diplomacy and chaired a U.N. Security Council meeting on nuclear nonproliferation.

Despite a more positive mood, solutions to world challenges from Iran's nuclear program to climate change remain elusive and Obama still faces a long list of headaches that will test his leadership.

Obama can do no wrong.
He is omnipotent.
He’s second only to Allah.

Does the...ahem..."reporter" have a spoon-wish for the jOker? This is repugnant writing at its worst.

The idiot starts by implying it was HUGE success. But.......there's work to and "challenges".

God, how I loathe this pre-teen-worship-club referred to as the Media.

Mark Levin is doing a pretty decent rip on Obozo’s lies of the last two days.

Oh, those wonderful "diplomatic coups"! What nonsense. Obama called Iran on a secret nuclear facility the US has known about for years and the Iranians admitted to it. So? Are the Iranians going to stop? Is the adulation of Reuters and Gadhafi or the combined finger-wagging of Britain and France going to persuade Ahmedinijad to shut down Iran's nuclear efforts? The answer is no - nothing of any substance has been accomplished at all.

This is the essence of liberal foreign policy. Grandstand and pontificate while our enemies smile at our self-imposed impotence and do whatever they please.

Wait, Iran’s effectively has nukes and the dollar is no longer important in the world so Obama won the day.
How is that?

Mark’s awesome.
I think he’ll do it.

He’s really made Junior look bad coming into Hendrick with all new crew guys (new to Mark, I mean) and running so well right from the get go. Shows how good their equipment and engineering are.

I just hope Mark gets thru Talladega without getting crashed out, he deserves some luck on a restrictor track.

I hate restrictor plate racing nearly as much as I hate this points system to get “in to the race” b.s.

I only know of one coup lately. The one that happened in the ACORN sponsored US 2008 selections.

Even the best Indy drivers take a long time to figure out Nascar because the cars are overpowered relative to the tires and amount of aero downforce. (like Monty)

Danica is definitely a second string Indy driver - she’ll be a midpacker on her best days ever in Nascar.
