Felony tax evasion provides for restitution and a fine of up to $100,000 for an individual and up to five years in jail.

The fines and jail BS is just a prerequisite to asset seizure. What? Cannot pay up? Say goodbye to your house, car, boat, land, CDs, bank accounts, etc. If the IRS is involved, you know darn well how that game is going to be played.

Some live under bridges, in tunnels, and in tent cities. I guess jail will be an improvement.
