When did he renounce his Indonesian citizenship and become an American citizen? Someone should ask him that at a press conference, perhaps one of the reporters who cover the White House.

They’ve probably been warned not to under penalty of exclusion.

Let's start out a little slower for our "slow" presstitutes.
Perhaps they could begin by asking WHEN did he change his name from BARRY SOETORO, to the now infamous, BARAK HUSSEIN OBAMA?

Seems to me that would be a good starting place.
If one changes their name, there is usually paperwork to show said change.

After my divorce I took back my maiden name -- and I have the papers to prove it.
For FR and media purposes I use a name that we (DC chapter members) made up on the corner at WR.
I do not use my "fake" name when signing legal docs, however.

He was born in Hawaii so he was an American citizen all along.

Not a good question; it would allow him to show the reporter as ignorant of US law. A child does not lose US citizenship from actions of the parents.

One can only lose US citizenship by formally renouncing in front of a consular officer, and that officer has to be convinced that anyone under 18 fully understands the meaning and consequences. The other ways of losing citizenship (serving in the armed forces of a country with which the US is at war, treason, etc. ) would not apply to a child.
