DALLAS - Dallas FBI agents arrested a Jordanian citizen Thursday afternoon for attempting to bomb a skyscraper in Downtown Dallas.
According to the bureau, 19-year-old Mosam Maher Husein Smadi was arrested and charged for attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction.
Smadi had been under continuous FBI surveillance and was arrested after he allegedly placed and tried to detonate an inactive car bomb near Fountain Place, a 60-story glass office tower located at 1445 Ross Avenue, the FBI said.
Thanks, Juan....thanks Jorge.
Jordanian illegal. Well, this goes along with what I’ve been saying for the last 7-8 years. The next terror attack is going to walk across our southern border while we’re all standing in line in our socks at the airport.
Hey, can someone tell the Fedgov to take some time out of this brave fight and secure and protect our borders so we can avoid these people coming here in the first place?
Thanks to your brave guys in the Fedgov, ya got tens of thousand of mid-easterners from Muslim countries encircling all of Americas major airports in their taxis and shuttle vans.
Just a wild guess, but I'd say these people are a major threat to national security...
Yes, may God protect them from the Obama Deptarment of "Justice".
Used to work at Fountain Place for years.
Still have friends there.
SOB!
Sorry to disagree. I think what they did was huge, as do most people, and I think they made their point.
I guess we disagree on the proportion of what happened on 9/11.
BUT...BUT...Obama is president now...they were supposed to be our friends now that Bush is gone...I am so confused.
I don’t disagree with the proportion of what they did I disagree that their plan and resulting actions were intelligent. There was a gaping hole in our security that they could have used to literally cripple our nation. They wasted that one time opportunity to “make a point,” as you put it (albeit an extremely expensive and tragic point for us), instead of delivering a lethal blow. That is stupidity and they have been paying dearly for it.
The man was inspired by Islam, not American politics. That really ought to be obvious to anyone paying attention.
