Gold makes a great alternative currency just the way it is. I love it. I own it but, we don’t need global currency in any capacity. If America were forced to adopt a global currency backed by gold, we could very well end up handing over the contents of fort knox to our creditor nations who are clearly unhappy with us and the dollar. Such a thing will not turn out well for us and, guess what else, gold confiscation will come back to America.
