Well, what I see is science gradually abandoning evolution in favor of something else called “evolution” but nothing like the present theory.
I think I see it beginning already with the objections to citing natural selection as a major explanation for changes at the population level.
I'm seeing that, too, count-your-change. Something's gotta give, 'cause evolution (as presently constituted) seems to have "hit the wall" as a life science.
Which accounts for the amazing "pushback" we're seeing from these quarters in recent times. They know their days are numbered; thus their fury increases.
