Canadians do not have liberties.
They have privileges.
Which is why I moved to the USA.
So how can non existent liberties be suspended?

Funny coincidence ... or not so funny ... but there’s a culturally Indonesian (Kenyan?) socialist in Washington DC who would have no problem with suspending our liberties here.

Goody for them. I, however, am not willing. Not that the geniuses in Washington, D.C. would listen.

I’m willing to run anyone off of my property in a pandemic.
With any means possible!

Unfortunately many Canadians have accepted arguing against government intrusion as an unwinnable argument. They look at the major political parties as all wanting to control more of their daily lives and confiscate more of their wages, just in varying degrees. The unofficial national motto is “yeah, but what can you do”.

The second amendment isn’t there to protect us from foreign enemies, it’s there to protect us from our own government.

Poor Plex, committed a crime and now does time.
NYC is the same as MA. Get caught with an unlicensed gun and its strict liability. 2 years in the slammer.
Burris has enough money to actually have a permitted gun.He was just plain stupid.
None of his freedoms were compromised. He was guilty of a crime.

You can shoot yourself on private property as a constitutional right?

Dunno, I would hope I have the right to shoot myself, or even talk to myself.

That’s just silly, of course we have liberties. No need to get out of hand.
