Former Rep. Jim Traficant (D-Ohio) lit into the current leadership in Washington on Wednesday, warning the IRS that he wants to "kick them in the crotch," apologizing to "all the hookers in America" for once comparing members of Congress to prostitutes and telling President Barack Obama to "stimulate this."
Traficant was released earlier this month after serving a 7-year stint in federal prison on corruption charges.
Appearing on MSNBCs "Hardball," Traficant said that even though he is out of prison, he still has "Federales swarming around me."
Traficant then launched into one of his patented rants, touching on everything from the anti-tax tea parties, to instituting a flat tax to the "big whorehouse" that is the U.S. Capitol.
"I want to get the IRS, kick them in the crotch real good," he said. "I want to reform the Justice Department who investigates themselves when they commit crimes as they did in my case. It is going to explode before it is over."
"They have to throw the tax code out, abolish the Sixteenth Amendment and come out with a 25 percent fair tax retail sales tax," he continued. "We can give billions of billions of dollars to banks who wont lend it to people unless they have three dollars in the bank for every one dollar we borrow. Im tired of seeing this money going all over the world."
"Stimulate this," Traficant said. "Thats what Im saying."
Since leaving jail, Traficant said that he has been speaking at "a lot of these tea bag parties," and that the folks at the anti-tax rallies "mean well."
The colorful former lawmaker also did not pass up an opportunity to launch back into one of his classic floor speeches comparing lawmakers in Washington to prostitutes.
"Years ago on the House floor on a foreign aid debate, I called the members of the House of Representatives a bunch of political prostitutes," he said. "They demanded my words be stricken. They jumped up like 100 TV evangelists."
"I want to apologize to all the hookers in America for having associated them with the United States House of Representatives," he continued. "Yeah, I think it is a big whorehouse and they better start taking care of America and stop worrying about the Middle East and worry about the Midwest."
Asked if he would consider running for Congress again, Traficant responded: "Im 25 years old, Im eligible to run. There is no restriction on me running."
"I would have to look at the variables on it," he explained. "I dont know what Im going to do. I may run."
Lol!
If he ran for Congress, I would give moeney to his campaign !
FYI: Traficant is on 1100AM WTAM Friday September 25, 3 to 6 PM EST.

Thanks for reminder.
PING!
Why can’t we have 535 of him in Congress?
This guys value lies in his humor. He's still a Union Thug.
But I'd prefer him over about 270 of the current batch of congress critters.
LOL Broke the mold. Broke the mold.
LOL! Don't we all.
LOL!
Howdy, TSR!
I'll stand with you on that comment.
Traficant's a straight shooter. And he's the one people should've called the maverick. He did his time (for the setup charges) and has come back out swinging and more power to him. I hope he tells everything.
I've got cousins in Youngstown suburbs and they say everyone out there knows Traficant was railroaded.
Having his federal employees work on his boat.
And man, you should have seen his boat - it was a disaster. The boat club junked it for scrap.
Which says a lot about federal employees, and congressmen - incompetent idiots. The guy did seven years in jail for a boat that wasn’t worth $200 bucks. Literally.
Still, I miss his rants. Most honest thing in government.
How’s it going? We all still have our land...for now.
New tagline alert.
LOL! Appropriate and so true.
