If you are among the percentage of the populace that regularly watches the Rachel Maddow show, you know that recently she’s been working herself into a high-pitched, smirking lather over “conservadems”—her pejorative term for Blue Dogs and other Democrats whom Maddow is incensed at for their refusal to roll over and play lapdog for her leftist heroes and their radical agenda. Why, these Democrats have the audacity to actually worry that creating huge new government bureaucracies controlling everything from health care to mortgages, and raising middle-class tax burdens, might not be what this country needs to get out of a recession.
Her recent guest list has been filled with speakers who want to “primary” conservative Democrats and replace them with more leftist politicians. Because, you know, that worked out so wonderfully well with Ned Lamont. Last Friday, she had the possibly-racist and definitely-crazy Jane Hamsher of the Firedoglake blog (best known for championing the aforementioned Lamont, and for her association with pictures posted of Joe Lieberman in blackface). Today, it was new AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka.

Maddow is one angry dude...and one of the reasons he’s angry is that there are enough Anglo/hetero/male Dems to put the Dems back to their 2002 obscurity.
