I would like to see if anyone can assist us in our efforts. We are starting a petition drive to create a "Help a Veteran" Day. We have Fedeal Holiday that pays respect veterans. But to be honest in many areas of the country it is just another day off especially for the kids. Or it is justs another day veterans have to serve in a town parades. The particular's about our day of "helping them" are in the petition drive on the linked source URL.
The Daily Jabber is proud to be a have any help you may give us. We will be giving credit to all sites that help distribute the petition drive.
For the record: The Daily Jabber is a veteran family founded conservative community.
ANY suggestions that you all give will be greatly appreciated and considered. As we don't know if it will work unless we try. Thanks.
to the some who think it's a bad suggestion. we appreciate your opinion, but in our opinion/hearts we believe veterans deserve more than one day a year. This would be a great way to assist veterans one at a time just because, with a yearly public service announcement on a sat saying today is "Help a Veteran" day. If you know one a neighbor or a stranger on the blanket down on the corner. Go out and rake their yard or give them a warm blanket, and before they can say thank you ...say thank you to them first.
Turn Veterans Day into “Thank-A-Vet” Day.
i like, i played on words for a while. and you walked right in and laid it on me. i’m going to update it
