And while he certainly encouraged people to attend the 9/12 event, the date was picked because that is when they could get a permit months earlier. Many very hard working groups and people put the event together, raised the resources, volunteered their time, and they resent, and have told me so, that one person tries to take credit for it. It is insulting to them and everyone else.
