That’s the key. They need a visual clue to know that it’s sarcasm or any form of wit that doesn’t involve bodily functions or the f-word. They hear talk radio as a continuous droning of facts (which is why lib talk radio bombs) because they are incapable of using language alone to tell sarcasm from fact.
It isn’t that they’re retarded. They are just trained to need visual clues to know what’s being said. It’s the Idiocracy (great movie!) in action.
The media typically gets their talking points from Soro’s Media Matters’ redacted passages of programs like The Rush Limbaugh Show.
Sarcasm doesn’t translate well to the printed page when there are lies of omission in the presented text.
