ALBANY - Talk about Presidential pile-ons.

First, President Obama sent word to Gov. Paterson that maybe he shouldn't run for election next year.

Now, former President Bill Clinton is weighing in, saying Paterson is "not in good shape now" politically, but expressing confidence Paterson will do what's best for his state.

Interviewed on NBC's "Today" show Tuesday, Clinton called Paterson "a good man" and said he trusted him to "make a good decision."

Clinton's comments came as a new poll shows Paterson has been unable to turn his ratings around.

LOL. Too bad the GOP doesn't have the nads to tell its RINOS like Charlie Loafers to go crawl back under his rock.

Looks like they’re laying the groundwork for Hillary to be the next NY Governor.

And we know why because Chairman Obama told us so. Clinton is a rascist.

Gads, I could have gone all day long without thinking about that.... but nooooooo.

Just when I thought she was out in the right pasture....

Sadly, though, you may be right.

You know she's not happy being so far down on O'bama's list.

This is all about denying Rudy a springboard for 2012. A governorship is a step down from SecState...not as much graft available...so I wouldn’t expect Her to covet a job in Albany.

“Looks like they’re laying the groundwork for Hillary to be the next NY Governor.”

The NYT’s said it was groundwork for Cuomo, perhaps a deliberate diversion.

I think New Yorkers should be outraged that TOTUS is meddling in their affairs. It’s one thing for a president to endorse and campaign for his party’s nominee, but who the nominee is should be decided by the electorate.

Team Obama needs somebody as corrupt as Andy in that office. Paterson is not up to the job of looting treasure and burying bodies.

I can see that, but I think Hillary still has aspirations for the White House. Many strategists have calculated that being Governor of NY would really help her chances of getting there.

And I don’t think she’s satisfied with her current position...

I’m more inclined to think that clearing the way for Andrew Cuomo is the price paid for the NYS Attorney General to drop the investigation of Paulson and Bernacke pressuring BOA to buy out Merrill Lynch in spite of a clause which allowed BOA to back out.

not in good shape? What the hell does that mean? clintin and obama should be ashamed of themselves. I don’t like Patterson but he has as much right to run as any other person out there. Wow...talk about throwing someone under the bus????? How much longer will it take people to understand their loyalties don’t mean anything.

This is all about Hillary.
She’s in a position with her authority being circumvented by a czar. She knows that governors are good candidates for President. She needs this stepping stone to the White House.
