The $125 million lawsuit will sound cheap to the consultants/engineers if this thing crashes. I wonder how much liability insurance they have or how much bonding was required to get this thing underway.

I have always marveled at the fact that anybody would underwrite such a project down there in the first place. A Cat 5 like Allen lo these many years ago would annihilate much of SPI. The bad planning on this latest project can only dampen future ones, considering the already looming storm issue. I am afraid they’re due.

lol....old H.P. rules south Texas construction....that is a quite a feat to be removed from a liability lawsuit by the developer(s) and to just focus on site engineers and designers
