What the Left Wing is now practicing, and IMHO, has always practiced is a form of propaganda called “Disinformation”. Pelosi is no different from any Lefty in disseminating this “garbage”, flooding the air with half truths and (or “Kernals” as the old masters of the “art”, the Soviets referred to it as) thus building an entire fantasy around any given issue. The most glaring, and recent, example of this tactic is the whole “Global Warming” farce being played out politically. It has to be called for what it is and I am surprised that many in the conservative media hasn't called it out for what it is.
