Via the Right Scoop, a rhetorical question par excellence. Has there ever been a president less interested in foreign policy than The One? Does anyone, right or left, think he wouldnt happily take a pass on international issues for four or eight years to concentrate on remaking Americas economy in his statist image? His Afghanistan posture was always transparently a sop to centrists, to prove that he was a hawk on some wars even though he was famously a dove on Iraq. Now he senses some public reluctance to invest further in the good war and suddenly hes skeptical about more troops for the counterinsurgency strategy. Same with Iran: My hunch is that hed happily go on tango-ing with them forever if it meant buying him enough time to pass ObamaCare and cap-and-trade. The irony is, if his domestic priorities go down in flames, his only chance for reelection might be some sort of impressive victory in foreign policy, be it Iranian disarmament or an Israeli/Palestinian peace plan. I wonder how much hes willing to give up.
Heres a few minutes of video from the March presser on Afghanistan referenced by Krauthammer lest you doubt Obamas recent commitment to winning this fight.

Because he doesn’t intend for us to win there, perhaps? He is, after all, on the ‘other’ side.
Then pull tham all out. Sending them over their without proper support and with ludicrous ROE is worse than just cutting and running. This man is a disgrace.
What I want to know is why he isn’t doing anything about IRAN????
Not one frickin peep out of him about this.
If they have a nuke, either they take the first shot at Israel and WW3 starts, or Israel flies over and knocks them out, and WW3 starts. Oil becomes astronomically high. Like high enough most of us aren’t driving around much anymore.
Because he doesn’t give a s**t.
Because he’s an idiot?
Because he is a muzzie.

Krauthammer and his fellow neocons are never happy unless Americans are always fighting in multiple wars in every nook and cranny on the planet.
History will record that Bush won the difficult war, and 0bama lost the easy one.
Obama has yet to publish his National Security Strategy, let alone his strategy in regard to Afghanistan.
Not mutually exclusive.
Given 0bama's predilection - ask the Poles or the Czechs - for conceding an opponent everything he was asking for and then hoping that puppies rain from the sky, I'd say the prospects are pretty grim. These are people who have their own agendas and they don't involve making rock-star poseurs look good so they can get re-elected.
It isn't complicated. Iran, Russia, Hamas, Hezbollah, North Korea - these enemies were all for 0bama's accession to power so that they could actually pursue these agendas, not so that they could prolong the period in which they might pursue these agendas. They can see the tide rolling against hopenchange. They'll get what they can while they can and they're perfectly rational in doing so.
0bama isn't going to be bailed out by any of them, quite the contrary. And he's shown no sign even of appreciating their aims except as a facet of his own image. Unless the latter changes the U.S. has no hope of a cogent foreign policy in the next three years, whether the Dems retain control of Congress or not.
God help our military.
Why isnt Obama paying closer attention to Afghanistan?
Because he doesn’t care about anything other than turning this country into a dictatorship.
It is even simpler. 0bama is on the side of our enemies and is committing treason. The apparent confusion is just the wakes and eddies of turning the American ship in the opposite direction without the passengers noticing the switch.
Kraut destroyed the boy marxist.

....Barry is way too busy trying to sell his garbage ObamaCare to the American gullible.
