I am so sick and tired of republicans having to react to this stuff instead of being proactive. Most of us saw this coming in one form or another years ago. This “go along to get along” crap (McCain and Graham in particular)is the reason why we are fighting for a free America.

From the FCC web site:
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is an independent United States government agency. The FCC was established by the Communications Act of 1934 and is charged with regulating interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable. The FCC's jurisdiction covers the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. possessions. There is no reference anywhere in the FCC charter that mentions the Internet. Looks like they have assumed a responsibility they have no charter for.

I’m against any regulation this administration tries to pass. When they say “neutral” that really means they want go so far up your backside that they’ll take up permanent residence in your right nostril.

You’ve got to see FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski to believe him. Well, not to believe what he says, but to believe such an animal exists. The quintessence of self importance. He was on CSPAN this morning and even with the sound muted, the arrogance came through, pungently.
