Two new reports from ABC and the Washington Post underscore the “real deal” nature of the al-Qaeda terror cell uncovered this month in a flurry of arrests and search warrants. Sources within the investigation now claim that Najibullah Zazi left his fingerprints all over evidence that points to a terrorist attack, which may account for his reported flirtation with a plea bargain. Others tell ABC that they haven’t yet identified all the plotters:
Investigators said they found notes describing how to make bombs in the handwriting of an airport shuttle driver arrested as part of a terrorism investigation, and they also discovered his fingerprints on materials — batteries and a scale — that could be used to make explosives.
The emerging details show that Najibullah Zazi, who has admitted receiving weapons training from al-Qaeda, played a direct role in an alleged terror plot, authorities said in court documents released Sunday. …
The FBI said it found images of nine pages of handwritten notes on a laptop containing formulas and instructions for making a bomb, detonators and a fuse.
Zazi told the FBI that he must h ave unintentionally downloaded the notes as part of a religious book he downloaded in August. Zazi said he “immediately deleted the religious book within days of downloading it after realizing that its contents discussed jihad.” However, an arrest affidavit says the handwriting on the notes appeared to be Zazi’s. The affidavit doesn’t mention that they were part of a book, but that they were e-mailed as an attachment between accounts believed owned by Zazi in December, including an account that originated in Pakistan.
“It appeared to be consistent with the handwriting as it appeared in the document,” an FBI agent wrote.........

Where exactly did I appease either? I am all about keeping this country safe, but deporting all Muslims is not keeping this country safe. I couldn’t give less of a damn about the media, I DO care about the people the media are trying to influence. If the average uninformed Joe only hears from the fringe on this side while watching his trusty CNN, who is it helping? The mentality that will get us killed is spouting off tough guy crap that will never see the light of day, come up with real solutions to the problem. Do you really see the house introducing HR 6312 Muslim Deportation Act of 2009? Since that is clearly not going to happen, and would not be the answer if it did, we need to get real about this... and fix it.
I didn’t say anything about rounding up anyone, did I? I said they should leave the country and be banned from re-entering until they quit trying to kill us, and yes, the ones who have somehow become citizens, such as the father of Zazi, should leave too. If they are helping to plot the murder of innocents, or if they are tolerant of the fact that others of their “faith” are plotting our murder, they have betrayed their Oath of Citizenship. And as to banning guns, that says more about your point of view than mine. Guns do not plot and form terrorist cells. Guns don’t fly airplanes into buildings and blow up buses. Your logic is flawed. You must live somewhere that the threat of another attack isn’t on your daily radar. And Publius has been around for ages. You are entitled to your opinion, and we are entitled to ours. If I worried about the MSM approving of my opinions, I would join the Democratic Underground.
Islamburg, NY is only a couple of hours from NYC. Perhaps that’s where the missing teams are?

Forcing them to leave is rounding them up. The gun thing fits perfectly, you can’t use blanket solutions, that’s my point. Start rounding the Muslims up, get about 25% of the way there, and lets see what problems we have with the remaining ones. If they hate us enough now, I would not want to see what happens when we light that fire under their asses. I don’t want to be near it at that point. Nice jab there with the guns, suggesting it must be my opinion. We are on the same side here, I want to create solutions, you want to yell really loud.

You admit they hate us now, but you are content to sit back and let them slit our throats? They should be treated like a deadly disease. Isolated, quarantined, out of here. You wouldn't have to round them all up, they could be ordered to leave, and the ones who don't could be treated to expedited deportation. The "problems" you predict we would have with the "remaining ones" illustrates my point. Unless, perhaps in your opinion it would be preferable to end up like the UK.

However, based on whatever you said in the first quote, I’m inclined to think that’s how you feel. When I mentioned the percentages, I was referring to your post (where you suggested we rid the country of all of them), not Muslims as a whole. Not ALL of them hate us, but I assure you, if you start deporting innocent Muslims along with radical/potential terrorist Muslims, you will find hatred in corners where it never existed before. It does not take a lot of imagination to see this. The UK is a cesspool right now, and your aligning me with CAIR is ridiculous, just because.
1,000,000 guns, and 1,000,000 Muslims. Ban guns, deport Muslims. Let’s say 25% of each remain... the guns are with the criminals, and the remaining Muslims are the terrorists. Obviously I’m not comparing a gun with a person who would strap bombs on their chest, or crash plans into our cities. I’m comparing the concepts, which are equally stupid.

I’m not even sure why I’m offering a reply to this, if you read further down in the reply, you will see I am down with sending all of the bad ones home. Please, tell me how my not wanting to send all Muslims out of the country turn into my desire to have attacks on America? Are you for real, or just trying to yank my chain here?
