The Wall Street Journal quotes a senior administration official as stating “… a ground-based interceptor is generally about a $70 million-per-missile asset going after a $10-$15 million [Iranian] missile.” The official said “… the trade is not a good one economically.”’

That is incredibly lame.

That's like saying why spend $2,000 for bullet proof vest to stop a 50 cent bullet.

It isn't the cost of the missile or bullet that matters. It is the resulting damage...
