I know there were at least a million marchers last Saturday. Our group was by the pool, right in front of the National Botanical Garden. Around one o'clock or so, a guy came around announcing the our crowd reached 1.4 million. We all yelled and clapped.
From my vantage point, I watched in amazement as marchers streamed in to the area for hours!!!

For the 60-70 k estimate to be true, the crowd on 9/12 would have to look the same as any other day on the mall. I had posted a travel article earlier this week stating the fact that the DC mall is one of the most visited sites in the country, at 24 m/ yr. Divide that by 365, = 65,000 per day. Incredible gall and duplicity on the media’s behalf to claim that, and gullibility for anyone that believes that.

I, too, was near the National Botanical Garden (site of the only non-porta potty), and left the rally just before 2:00pm. I walked to the Capitol South Metro station and, lo and behold, people were still arriving!
