Venezuelan site could give Hezbollah door to atomic mischief Iran may consider a proposal from Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez to build a backup "nuclear village" in his nation to produce nuclear energy and also to have a safe fall-back production capability in case there is an attack by Israel or the United States on nuclear facilities in Iran, according to a report from Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin.

Chavez, in a visit last week to Iran, proposed to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad the idea of building a project in Venezuela.

Security sources have confirmed such a "nuclear village" could become the Iranian nuclear production alternative, or a location to hide especially critical nuclear components from attack.

[Article] Chavez, in a visit last week to Iran, proposed to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad the idea of building a project in Venezuela.

I've no objection, personally, to a bombing a rogue facility in Venezuela, any more than to bombing one in Iran.

Anyone?

The Unites States is going to lose some cities....................... Sadly, and no kind of payback if it occurs in the next 3 years. Oh, I forgot, the UN will send them a letter of reprimand and the POTUS will apologize for being us. Come 2012 we will need a “REAL” Leader and less talk. This guy doesn’t stop talking.

Other countries are going to lose one hell of a lot of highly educated people first -- and some political ones, too.

The offer Chavez makes to Ahmadinejab should be giving our president the chills. Instead of mustering up national security and displaying backbone to defend our nation, his actions this past week show a pandering president who is solely concerned about his health care agenda (and the inclusion of amnesty so his illegals can be covered). Meanwhile national security and stability of the US dollar appear to be non-issues for this leader.

Al Qaeda invades South America

Snippet: A new base area for Islamic radicals is developing in Venezuela. There, leftist president Hugo Chavez has not only established close diplomatic relations with Iran (and Cuba, North Korea and radical groups throughout the region), but has allowed Iran to set up operations in South America. Regular commercial flights from Iran to Venezuela (via Syria, to accommodate Hezbollah) carry people, cash and whatever else Iran wants to move. No questions asked, no visas required. Several U.S. counter-terrorism organizations have gone to work, trying to find out what Iran is up to, and how to block any terrorist activity. For example, the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control sought to block attempts by Iran and Hezbollah to get around banking restrictions placed on their terrorist activities, by opening bank branches in Venezuela. Hezbollah is using its new base in Venezuela to support its fund raising, and purely criminal activities, in South America. Iran is looking to support attacks against South American Jews, plus any other mischief it can pull off, without being blamed.

It’d sure be a whole bunch easier to locate and annihilate an Iranian facility in Venezuela. Hell, I propose that they build it in New Jersey. At least some local concrete guys would get good work. As long as they got paid before it was launched into the stratosphere

Have to get rid of the Chicago thugs in the White House before anything *will* be done.

No, there would be no payback as it is now. It is very sad what has happened. 0bama will be happy when America is down on it’s knees.

Meaning, that if a hostile, berzerker nation gets anywhere close to building nuclear weapons, their facilities are going to disappear in a blinding flash, and a lot of their top research facilities and people, too.

I don't know why we haven't struck NK yet -- targeting problems, I would imagine. Cataloging the associated locations and research centers, etc. That kind of thing.
