Pleas elaborate on the merger aspect and that it is still a current valid active concern.

Surely.

My impression was that “Avenue of the Americas” was not representative of the street; but, rather, of the Continents. I felt as if our national sovereignty had been given away in a global sense, that we had been merged with at least Mexico and Canada but possibly South America as well, and that “the Americas” were no more. The fact that the dream was set in Flushing Meadows park, a place I was completely unaware of before researching the dream, may indicate that the U.N. is somehow involved.

One final note. I did not feel afraid at all. Just sad. I felt as if I was in a place of safety. Not touchable by the oligarchy. Yet, I was observing the end of our nation as we know it.
