I live in AZ. My sense is that any Republican with ambitions of high office want to be Governor. Our last one left to be Secretary of Homeland Security, and her (Republican) replacement is vulnerable.
I doubt McCain will even have a Democrat challenger. The donks tried very hard to unseat Kyl last time around, but he held on. If McCain has any kind of challenger it will probably be some sort of libertarian or 3rd party type.
