Does He Lie? No, But Obama Implies, Misdirects, and Misleads.

By Charles Krauthammer.

You lie? No. Barack Obama doesn’t lie. He’s too subtle for that. He . . . well, you judge.

Herewith three examples within a single speech — the now-famous Obama-Wilson “you lie” address to Congress on health care — of Obama’s relationship with truth.

(1) “I will not sign (a plan),” he solemnly pledged, “if it adds one dime to the deficit, now or in the future. Period.”

Wonderful. The president seems serious, veto-ready, determined to hold the line. Until, notes Harvard economist Greg Mankiw, you get to Obama’s very next sentence: “And to prove that I’m serious, there will be a provision in this plan that requires us to come forward with more spending cuts if the savings we promised don’t materialize.”

This apparent strengthening of the pledge brilliantly and deceptively undermines it. What Obama suggests is that his plan will require mandatory spending cuts if the current rosy projections prove false. But there’s absolutely nothing automatic about such cuts. Every Congress is sovereign. Nothing enacted today will force a future Congress or a future president to make any cuts in any spending, mandatory or not.

Just look at the supposedly automatic Medicare cuts contained in the Sustainable Growth Rate formula enacted to constrain out-of-control Medicare spending. Every year since 2003, Congress has waived the cuts.

Mankiw puts the Obama bait-and-switch in plain language. “Translation: I promise to fix the problem. And if I do not fix the problem now, I will fix it later, or some future president will, after I am long gone. I promise he will. Absolutely, positively, I am committed to that future president fixing the problem. You can count on it. Would I lie to you?”

(2) And then there’s the....

It’s called “quibbling” and it is as much a violation of the Honor Code as lying, cheating, stealing, or otherwise violating a trust.

I googled “quibbling:”

(4) “Quibbling.” Quibbling is an equivocation and an evasion or shifting from the truth. It is an attempt to confuse through words or deeds that which really occurred. An example of quibbling is... A student lieutenant, responsible for preparing an original report for grade but who, in fact, copied another officer’s paper, was asked if the work accomplished was his own. His response, “Sir, that’s my handwriting” is “quibbling” or equivocating, is a violation of the Honor Code and deemed just as serious as a blatant lie.

You won't be required to change your current healthcare.
(Your current health insurer will be assimilated/bankrupted)

I won't add one dime to the federal deficit.
(Assuming you guys all pay for cap-and-tax and the myriad other middle-class tax increases I propose)

I am creating or saving millions of green jobs.
(Someone has to pick the lettuce after the damn Republicans cut off illegal immigration)

That's not true.
You guys wanna f*** with me? You wanna f*** with me? Call me a liar? Fine. Race card. Trump. You racists.

I say that Obama does lie, straight out. He thinks that we are all such fools that we do not even notice. Obama did lie about illegal immigrants being in his ObamaCare program.
When the books were looked at, illegal residents had not been left out of the American healthcare, and that was found to be true, and the aids did write it in then. So Obama was the liar; that is plain and clear.

People just hate to come out and call him a liar.

But if nothing he says is true why should anyone be shy about saying so?

Nothing he says is true. He is a liar. Whatever else he is, he is a liar. He may sometimes be lying in the same sense a salesman lies, painting word pictures that could be possible in some alternate universe, and sometimes he lies straight up, but he has no qualms about saying something is true that isn’t true. So why should anyone have any qualms about admitting that out loud?

Especially if he then accuses you of lying if you fail to play along with his word games? He lies, and he accuses anyone of lying who notices he’s lying. That makes him a liar.

Now, since we know he does in fact lie every time he opens his mouth, does that not make anyone just a little more interested in finding out what it is he’s hiding when he refuses to document anything about his biography?

lie (li) n 2. Something meant to deceive or give a wrong impression.

Odumbo is biggest liar we have ever had as president. At least Carter tried to be honest, even if he was a dumb a*&. Both will go down as Epic Fail in the annals of history.

I love this, may I appropriate it for use in letters to the Editor?

Well I will have to change some words in the last selection.

Please feel free to translate it to Y7 level.

You guys wanna joke with me? You wanna joke with me? Fine, I love funny people. Diversity. This is diversity, people. Who doesn't love people of color? People of color want you to give up your idealistic healthcare scenario. Ignore any visions of doctors retiring. Don't listen to anyone who wants to ration your heathcare. You are immortal! The bourgeois will pay for your scooter. From each according to his ability; to each according to his need, Your government will protect you. We'll soak the rich.
