TEXAS....Just outside the DFW Metroplex.....and what you say has some credence...but there are lots of them paying rent...I know..I rent to them!

And you think they pay their fair share of taxes when they have multiple families living in the same space?

Anyway, I think there has to be a better way to pay local taxes than to have your property eternally linked to it....giving the state/county authority to rip off you or your heirs if something goes awry in life.
