TEXAS....Just outside the DFW Metroplex.....and what you say has some credence...but there are lots of them paying rent...I know..I rent to them!
HOW TEXAS CAN SAVE AMERICA FROM WASHINGTON It's very easy, actually. If Perry invokes the 10th Amendment and says Texas will not participate in ObamaCare, many other states will follow suit. And please - oh please - try to restrict other Federal funding for non-participation in ObamaCare (if it ever passes). I'd LOVE to see South Dakota v. Dole get tossed in the trash bin where it belongs! |
Anyway, I think there has to be a better way to pay local taxes than to have your property eternally linked to it....giving the state/county authority to rip off you or your heirs if something goes awry in life.

How many rental units are you involved with? How much in taxes did you pay on the rental units you own? Finally, do you allow multiple families to occupy your rental units? Now have the final word!

I don't own any rental property. I've just seen my property taxes triple in the past 15 years...though I have no children in schools... and I don't utilize any of the county's "social services".
Anyway....I hope to hear from Debbie Medina since I asked her to send me the model of her tax reform.
BTW, we weren't talking about multi-family rental "units". We were talking "single" family units with multiple families. Tell your wife hello...and may God Bless! :)
