To: right way right

I’m torn. I think the edifices of higher education should offer degree granting online courses. Anyone who can do the material ought to be able to receive the degree and the qualifications that will prove useful later on.

I love good will hunting and he was right. The real problem with a college education is who has the time to learn stuff? With all the busywork they have gets in the way of learning.

I think there are accreditation issues that come into play if you put your courses out there for credit. I have to say, I’ve had a few online courses, and they are not as good as in person courses. I don’t like them. They are cold and impersonal. You don’t meet anyone. You don’t build a network. You don’t have people to study with. You don’t get the teacher’s non-verbal communication, or at least not much of it.
