If you object to some of the names on this hardly objective WaPo list, see the videos below.

Please DO NOT misunderstand my reasons for producing these two videos. If folks want to gather together to let “them” know that “we,” like Howard Beal in “Network” are “…mad as hell and not going to take it any more…,” it’s STILL – for the time being anyway – a relatively free country so we can do that.

All I’m saying here is that, especially in tough economic times, there are more EFFICIENT and EFFECTIVE ways to expend our FINITE RESOURCES.

It’s not as much fun as sweating on the Mall but there IS a better – and less costly — way to scare hell out of “them” — and you won’t even have to leave home.

Oh, I agree that we must replace our local representatives! You are on the right track. IMO every single incumbent needs to go. Even my congressman, who I like; but who has been in Washington for 11 years, and is now a multimillionaire. He says all the right things; but also takes advantage of the “perks”, by traveling all over the world on our dime. People who live in trailer houses and who will NEVER be able to afford to travel anywhere beyond our state, pay for him and his staff to travel to exotic places around the world! It is wrong. He also has been very ineffective in blocking any action by the dems. He has been against the TARP and other spending bills, but he has offered nothing to counter them. There is no fight, and no alternatives.

I am tired of having DEFENSIVE representation; instead of OFFENSIVE representation. The Republicans only react to the dems they do not have any ideas or alternative plans. They just go to parties and comment to the press!

Yes, this is the right thing. We must get involved locally. We must recruit successful business people of every ethnicity. We must recruit intelligent SAHM’s and coaches, and military leaders. And these new leaders must bring to Washington, their own local staff. Because THAT is who really runs the government, “staffers”, who go from one pol to another across political lines; as political mercenaries. These “staffers” are overwhelmingly liberal college students and recent graduates. Even cleaning out the candidates, it will be harder to cull out these “knowlegable” staffers. And one more thing...one thing we must do this election cycle--we must find a way for the American people to wrest contol of congressional salaries away from congress. The American people whould be voting on all salary increases; and have the option of cutting their salary. WE are the employers, we should set the payscale and benefit packages. This is the biggest way to take back control of our own representatives!

I watched the videos and this sounds very much like goooh.com (Get Out Of Our House). I’m going to a meeting about that next week.
