THERE'S one thing more shocking than the illegal- alien smuggling advice that an ACORN official in San Diego gave undercover journalists James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles: It's the illegal-alien home-loan racket that ACORN has been operating with the full knowledge of the US government.
On Wednesday, O'Keefe and Giles published the fifth in a series of BigGovernment.com sting videos. In it, ACORN official Juan Carlos Vera coached the pimp-and-prostitute-posing pair on how best to pull off a border-busting smuggling operation.
It would be "better from Tijuana," Vera counseled. He then generously offered the investigative couple his Mexican "contacts" to bring 12 illegal-alien girls into the country for prostitution.

I saw MSNBC’s crawl headline about the Acorn scandal yesterday. It was entitled, “ACORN VS. NUTS”. They’ve got some great humor writers over there. /s
The corruption goes far beyond ACORN. More layers of the onion need to be pealed.
I marvel afresh at the audacity of this sting. I wouldn’t have even thought to try to get them to fall for a plan to smuggle in a bunch of underage prostitutes. I would have set my sights much lower, like lying on mortgage applications or whatever their bread and butter fraud is. Sounds like Giles and O’Keefe sized them up well.
Our federal government has really betrayed the American taxpayer. We need to get back to strengthening the states and using state powers to push back against the feds.

Yeah, it’s amazing. Providing a list of Mexican “contacts” to smuggle in illegal prostitutes? Wow.
What class!. it reminded me of that tall guy who represented ACORN that Glenn Beck had on his show during this past spring. When this guy was about to leave the building, after BECK threw him off of the show during the commercial break, he put his arm around one of the TV Station Managers(who happened to be an attractive female according to Beck) and propositioned her.
This same guy also called the station to speak with her telling her how hot she was.
It does not get any worse than this but I might be wrong. Stay tuned for the next turn in this episodic story of the ACORN TEAM.
It was like kind of GINGERLY asking what her rates were, and then kind of blowing it off like HE personally wasnt interested. But he obviously wanted to rent her out for "the weekend". (He did ask the "weekend rate.").
Then the dude is crying his eyes out later on TV that he would never do such a thing as facilitate illegal aliens bundled with prostitution. Kind of like those guys caught on those COPS videos for soliciting prostitutes. ... some of them start crying when they feel the cold metal around the wrists and know before the night is out the Mrs. is going to know about their little forays for sex.

When you are a dirtbag to begin with and you think you’re covered in teflon because of government support, that’s how you’re going to act...like a bleeping animal.
Giles and O’Keefe appear to have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams simply because they were too young and inexperienced to know that they look like comic opera versions of what they were supposed to be. Like the bumblebee that flies because he is too dumb to understand aeronautical engineering they went way over the top and it worked. Watching those tapes I kept wondering how they could be taken at face value. She might appear to be a hooker but he is a caricature of a pimp.
Pimps do go over the top. That seems to be an essential feature of pimpiness. Maybe a bit more costume jewelry and smaller spectacles would have been more realistic, but hey it worked!
