I think the water in the delta is controled by the state water agency.

The water that was shut off not only feeds the farmers but the domestic water supply for all of Southern California.

It’s a hugh pumping system that feeds a canal as big as most rivers.

I doub tthat anyone in a state agency would have the balls to turn on the system against a federal judges order.

It’s real simple. We, the people, tell the governator that if he does NOT act in their behalf and do the right thing, his days in politics are numbered. And that goes for any OTHER politicians that stand against the farmers.

I daresay the next election will be about food, not about money. They damned well better listen.

The pumps they shut off feeds the greater Bay Area down to SoCal. It's a lot of water and a lot of people are affected. It's a farce and Arnie knows it but has the perifial (sic) canal syndrome.

The delta is not the only place that has this smelt. It's nation wide, the mere fact that the tree huggers gave it a special name “delta smelt” were they able to fulfill their agenda.
