For those unfamiliar with the economic history of food, it is instructive to note that Rome destroyed Carthage over the price of food (grain, specifically). Moving to the present, is is also instructive to look at the price of lemons and limes after Hurricane Andrew hit South Florida and killed off the groves.
The “Bronze People” (their own descriptive words - not mine) in Messico quadrupled their lemon and lime prices. Repeat, those Turd World bachelor’s children quadrupled their lemon and lime prices.
For the Liberals, that means the Mexicans raised their lemon and lime prices 400%.
Once one of America’s great agricultural areas is destroyed, what do you think the Commies in the Turd World nations will charge us for food?

I live in the San Joaquin Valley and was really happy that Sean Hannity shown a light on this situation. Mendota, a rural farming town, has a 45% unemployment rate. When lettuce gets to $5 a head, you can thank a delta smelt. When arugula (are you listening, Mr. President, who likes this crummy lettuce) gets to %10 a bunch (oh right, BHO never pays for his food)... This is idiocy, pure plain and simple....A smelt vs. a living.
The RAT is Jim Costa, who never met an idiot liberal plan he didn’t like. First they sell the water, then they turn off the pump for the very little we get from rain and snow run off from Yosemite. What’s next?? Stop Bridleveil Falls in Yosemite cause some bug flows down???

Have you suggested this to Hannity or even tried to contact Paul Rodriguez? I think you are correct, people would flock to help them... many do not realize there is more than the San Jaquin Valley at stake here, if the feds win this one .. who or what is next? The enviros want to shut off the Dams on the Colorado River because of the “chub”.... this fight in California is all of ours fight.
Citizens must stand against the gov., it’s just that simple and will not ever change.

The delta smelt is evil. A totally sinister creature. You can tell by how thoroughly evil its friends are.
That’s exactly what i said to my husband. The Governator has authority to send in the Guard.I don’t know why it wasn’t mentioned during the show.
My advice is to kill all of the Delta Smelt. When they cease to exist there will be no reason for the FedGov to keep the water shut off.

If governor Terminator had any balls at all he would stand on the 10th Amendment and have an armed force of CA LEOs face down the Feds and turn the water back on.
