Ron Paul announces that HR 1207 now has 290 co-sponsors, and if the bill were to be brought to the House floor today it would pass.
How many votes are needed in the House and then the $inate to make any bill veto proof?
68 Senate and I think 310 House
Nice.
I hope it has real meaning.
I saw Beck was back on to Geitner and the Fed. Reserve a bit yesterday. I hope he directs more of his energy that way.
How many of these same Congressional persons are willing to co-sponsor a bill to Audit and examine in detail ACORN?

This is vintage Ron Paul, before he got whacky.
Speaking of Ron Paul...Anyone read his book “End the Fed” and want to offer an opinion of it?
2/3 vote to override a veto would be 67 senators and 290 members of the house.
Is anyone concerned about this effort morphing into a situation where the Fed is subject to political interference from congress and/or the White House?? While I do support an open, honest, and transparent Fed, the LAST thing we want is a politicized Fed. We are then no better than some piss poor banana republic where the political class orders the printing press on full steam to achieve political and social goals.
>where the political class orders the printing press on full steam to achieve political and social goals.
And that’s NOT happening now?
All of us should listen to Tim’s go-round with the Oversight Board last Fridy. All boardmembers had excellent questions. None were answered. Kudos to Rep. Hensarling.
RD
I thought we were already doing that, who knew?
Cool beans ,,, Keep on truckin’ .
Hurrah !!!
We may have enough votes to trim Acorn’s money horns.
This issue is still short.
We need the Inspector General’s office to audit fed money to Acorn.
Then each governor and state AG in the states where criminal behavior has been documented or well founded, need the audit meat ax to acorn’s tether to our taxes.
