Officers have been known to embelish what they put in the report. The words they use under oath are sworn testimony. Officers have been known to back down on statements in the report when it comes to court.

Either they lie under oath or they lie in their signed reports.

I have to go with the testimony in court over paperwork.

I agree that some cops have been known to lie, but I’ve also known a lot of law violators that tend to lie also.

You know, I haven’t met too many speeders that believe they deserved the ticket. Most blame the cop or claim that they were only driving as fast of everyone else; as if two wrongs make a right.

As conservatives, we must hold people accountable for their actions. As I’ve said before, I’m not condemning you for going with your gut reaction. I’m only saying, wait for ALL of the facts and we’ll see if the cops or the activist are lying.

I also think it is wrong to assume that if a person is a cop then they must be a liar. People are people and the job does not make a person moral or immoral. People decide that on their own irrespective of their occupation.
