Your “reserve public servant” status notwithstanding, I believe your overbearing attitude (in the use of your knowledge) is very revealing, and that is probably most of the reason you’ve rubbed a few people wrong in this discussion...

I really don’t care if I’ve rubbed anyone raw. The truth is the truth and if that pisses people off then I don’t really care.
I’m glad you got my point on the original discussion. If you will only read the entire thread, I only made an observation that a select few decided to deride. I only defended my position with the facts and not my emotional gut reactions, which is exactly what the deriders did.
Sorry, if I tried to interject a little logic and reason into this debate. Next time, I’ll keep to one-word answers on the forum so that everyone can understand. It was my mistake to believe this was an intelligent debate.
So basically what you’re saying is Free Republic only likes stupid people that lack any knowledge, but instead speak out their a**. That sure explains some of the frivulous comments that I’ve seen today that contain nothing more than lame insults.
I kind of thought the purpose of a conservative forum was for people to come together and provide varying perspectives based on their knowledge and expertise so that an intelligent debate could occur regardless of if everyone agrees. Silly me, I guess I was wrong.
From now on, I’ll limit my comments to abbreviations, single words, or grunts so that nobody thinks I might know what I’m talking about and everyone else can easily understand.
