Fact is, I see fliers and notices posted on poles at intersections every day. During election years, it’s standard practice here in Houston. If these “laws” are being selectively enforced (and I believe they are and will continue to be more and more against right-wingers/conservatives)....the laws become immaterial. If we are a nation of laws, those laws must be color blind AND party affiliation neutral.
Such is not the case. That’s the fact and the reality.
Mayor Lee P. Brown (D) spent a day riding around in a city vehicle picking up rivals’ campaign signs posted in the public areas.
I agree that the laws must be enforced and if you look at my previous posts, I clearly stated multiple times that if they are not being enforced and the cops are wrong then sue the pants off of them. Get the cops fired. Exercise your rights and do something about it.
However, on the other side of that argument, we should not just assume that this was the case in this particular incident. It sounds like the guy possibly broke the law. If he did then he is wrong. Just because the libs break the law doesn’t mean conservatives should. I believe conservative are better than that.
Wouldn’t everyone feel foolish later if they find out that this guy ran from the cops when they just wanted to question what he was doing so the cops chased him and the guy then tried to fight/resist the cops, claiming he was being harassed for no reason. It happened in the Gates incident. The cops have a right to question someone that is reported by a citizen for “suspicious” activity.
Now I’m not saying this is the case, but I don’t know and neither does anyone else. Everyone seems to take this protesters word as gold without bothering to wait on the full facts. That just irritates me.
If conservatives start doing this then we’ll be no different than libs because every libs automatically assumes any opposition to Obummer is racist, when it isn’t. We need to get the whole story and then hold accountable whichever party is wrong in this.
