Thank you for your service.
May God continue to bless your family.

(however, it was HARD hearing the chaplain pray that God would continue to use Obama to take this country to greater heights)
This soldier and his parents deserve better.
BUMP. Let’s hope that a few living warriors will also receive this award.
Thank God for people like Jared C. Monti.
Thank you for your service, Sargeant.
I wish this Country could have honored you lived. We have so few genuine heros and the military is so stingy in making these awards, especially to the living.
wwjd at your post? He would cringe and weep
I am very aware you don't care for my opinions.
If you would think before you respond, you might notice Obama is herding us as fast as he can to chaos and destruction.
What I quoted in the post you object to wasn't exact--(perhaps you can retrieve it from some site)- but the message, as I took it, is that Obama is on the right track and will carry us to greater heights.
However he said it, it wasn't sound, IMO.
In MY OPINION!
There are enough problems in this world without you following me around to voice your objection to whatever I print!
Please do yourself a favor and stop reading my posts and do me a favor and stop posting to me.
Please.
No one is “following you around”. How smug and arrogant. Along with being self righteous this is not very attractive nor is it walking the Christian path. It never was. Nor is the self righteous pontificating. Thank goodness the parents of this courageous soldier do not agree with you and accepted this wonderful honour in the manner in which it was given. God bless them and may He offer them comfort in their time of grief.
I think of myself as fairly innocuous. So I find it puzzling why anyone would ask me, and anyone else, to not post to them. I ask this with all due respect. It is truly puzzling to me. I do not think of myself as rude or obnoxious. My Mother raised me better. I think I treat others with respect always. Even if I disagree with them. Goodness knows, I have been married to a Blue Dog Democrat for 43 years and we have yet to argue about politics. We talk, discuss, laugh then vote for the person we each think is the best person for this beloved country of ours. And we discuss with respect. Just puzzling it is. Thank you for the wish of peace.
Also, I never saw your request that I not post to you. I have been here for years and never have I requested that someone, anyone, not post to me. It is a forum for debate of course. I do not have to agree with one to respect them, of course. Debate is always interesting and usually enlightening. Puzzling indeed.
